His Church is Everlasting

The vision was cast, seventy years ago
When a group of believers, had a church to grow
The ground would tremble, as the trains went by
Reminding them, there’s a watchful eye

Verse 2
The call of the Lord, there’s a harvest to reap
The fields are so fertile, our promise to keep
So like the disciples, we’d gather to pray
Let the Holy Spirit, show us the way

Well, it must have been God’s plan, working through our hands
We’re building faith, in this new promised land
Must have been God’s grace, raining down on this place
See His glory in our new worship place
So all who are thirsty, come drink from His living waters and
Sing to the Father, His love is everlasting
Praise to our Father, His Church is everlasting

Brick by brick, and soul by soul
In tents and trailers, now this glorious home
Through bible study, sermons and praise
One by one, so many lives are changed

Verse 4
The faces are many, the young and the old
Ordinary families, their lives to unfold
Through sickness and health, the joy and the pain
We’re a family in Christ, let His Kingdom reign
